First process: In preparation of the following coating with UV varnishes, a water based primer is applied out of the coating unit due to the use of conventional printing inks.
- Anilox roller: 100 lines, 11 cm3/m2 hexagonal
Second process: Out of the last ink duct, a UV based effect primer is used partially (sun beams left blank). A high gloss coating* is applied full area out of the coating unit. Where primer and high gloss coating meet, a matt effect is realized in accordance to the chosen drip off system’s formulation. Those areas without primer show high gloss surfaces (sun beams). > Please refer to month July in order to find more information and a visual application description for drip off.
