How it works

Pearlescent Gold

This water-based pearlescent coating with Luxan glas pearl pigments in the color shade gold creates a warm late summer mood. Pigments persuade by means of their very high transparency as well as the good reflection ability.

First process: Having printed with conventional inks, the TerraEffekt Pearlescent Coating G 29/593 is applied partially (surfer in front left out).

Anilox roller: 12 cm³/m², tri-helical, 70 l/cm

Second process: Offline, the TerraGloss UV Special Varnish G 8/246 L NVK is used full area.

Anilox roller: 17 cm³/m², tri-helical, 45°, 80 l/cm

Third process: In order to achieve the requested contrast to the sparkling water, the surfer in front is coated dull matt with the TerraGloss UV Matt Varnish G 8/177 D NVK out of the ink duct.

Windsurfing

Windsurfing developed from sailing and surfboarding (see calendar motif June), especially popular in California, United States. Rapidly, windsurfing qualified as a worldwide trend sport. By means of a sail - rotatable, tiltable and connected to a board - the strength of wind is used as an engine. Here, speeds of up to 45 kilometers per hour can be realized; spectacular maneuvers are possible.
