Cold foil finishing is a printing process where foil is applied to a substrate. Whether full area or spot; the cold foil module – located prior to the printing inks – allows the application of foil using fast machine speeds. In contrast to hot foil stamping, no high temperatures are necessary. Printing is an inline production on the offset press. Finally, the coating follows and provides the optimum protection of the printing image.
